Morningside Flight Park is a hang gliding and paragliding flight center long recognized as one of the premiere sites in the USA. Serving the flying community since 1975, Morningside brings unparallel convenience to flight. Interested in flight but not sure where to begin? Morningside has the answer! Try the Tandem Aerotow, a 2-place hang glider. With an instructor at your side, you'll tow behind an ultralight to 2500' and release for a scenic 10-20 minute glide over the Connecticut River Valley. Or take a scenic instructional ride in a motorized ultralight hang glider. Four hour introductory paragliding and hang gliding courses are also available, in addition to day and multi-day instruction. Today, at more than 100 years of age, the Woodstock Country Club is one of the state's oldest and finest golf courses. Redesigned in 1961 by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., the Woodstock Country Club boasts a 6,053 yard, 18-hole, par 70 golf course with the meandering Kedron Brook and strategically located pond sites providing water on over a dozen holes to challenge even the most seasoned golfer. Since 1952, Crown Point Country Club has challenged golfers with a scenic, impeccably-maintained course carved around Vermont hillsides, stone walls and traditional farmland. Crown Point plays 6,572 yards from the green championship tees, 6,120 from the white tees and 5,542 from the yellow forward tees. Tee times are required. Private lessons with video taping, group clinics, junior golf program, and driving range are also available.
