Join us aboard the M.V. Mt. Sunapee II for a unique and beautiful tour of scenic Lake Sunapee, NH. Enjoy the crystal clear waters and relax in our deck chairs while your Captain narrates the history, landmarks and lore of this mountain lake. The M.V. sails Memorial Day thru June on Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 p.m., July thru Labor Day daily at 2:00 p.m., Labor Day thru Columbus Day on Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Call for directions and dinner reservations.

Morningside Flight Park is a hang gliding and paragliding flight center long recognized as one of the premiere sites in the USA. Serving the flying community since 1975, Morningside brings unparallel convenience to flight. Interested in flight but not sure where to begin? Morningside has the answer! Try the Tandem Aerotow, a 2-place hang glider. With an instructor at your side, you'll tow behind an ultralight to 2500' and release for a scenic 10-20 minute glide over the Connecticut River Valley. Or take a scenic instructional ride in a motorized ultralight hang glider. Four hour introductory paragliding and hang gliding courses are also available, in addition to day and multi-day instruction. Discover the beauty of Vermont on horseback with Cavendish Trail Horse Rides. You'll find a working harness horse training center and breeding farm, and the Bates Mansion at Brook Farm, built in 1894-98. Terri Gokey, an accomplished rider, together with her staff, manages the trail rides. Ride on 500 private acres through unspoiled woods and meadow on picturesque nature trails while you take in the beautiful Vermont scenery. See Vermont wildlife or the state's famous foliage along the way! Cavendish Trail Horse Rides specializes in gentle saddle horses -- you won't find any broncos! North Star Canoe Rentals invites you to explore the abundant beauty of the Connecticut River as it winds peacefully between the scenic banks of Vermont and New Hampshire. North Star offers day trips, half-day trips and overnights of any length. The convenient shuttle bus leaves North Star's base, located on the Hammond family farm, and takes you to the put-in of your choice. You will paddle beneath the Cornish-Windsor Covered Bridge and along banks lined with stands of pine and rich farmlands, as Mt. Ascutney rises into view on the west bank. Your trip will conveniently conclude back at North Star's farm landing. North Star offers kayak trips that cover the same routes as the canoe trips. Hiking and walking trails are within seconds of the hotel, with a variety of terrain for all levels of outdoor enthusiasts. From a leisurely stroll to a full-day hike to the summit of Mt. Ascutney, miles of trails are at your doorstep. Trail maps are available at the hotel front desk, the Sports & Fitness Center or through the Ascutney State Park on Route 44A.

Today, at more than 100 years of age, the Woodstock Country Club is one of the state's oldest and finest golf courses. Redesigned in 1961 by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., the Woodstock Country Club boasts a 6,053 yard, 18-hole, par 70 golf course with the meandering Kedron Brook and strategically located pond sites providing water on over a dozen holes to challenge even the most seasoned golfer. Crown Point Country Club – Springfield, VT (802) 885-2703
Since 1952, Crown Point Country Club has challenged golfers with a scenic, impeccably-maintained course carved around Vermont hillsides, stone walls and traditional farmland. Crown Point plays 6,572 yards from the green championship tees, 6,120 from the white tees and 5,542 from the yellow forward tees. Tee times are required. Private lessons with video taping, group clinics, junior golf program, and driving range are also available.
