ASCUTNEY MOUNTAIN RESORT ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH VACATION CLUB GIANT ORANGE LAKE RESORTS
BROWNSVILLE, VT. (Summer 2007) - Ascutney Mountain Resort is proud to announce a new partnership with Orange Lake Resorts, an award-winning Orlando-based network of vacation club resorts.
As the latest step in updating and implementing their master plan, Ascutney Mountain Resort has found a perfect partner in Orange Lake, highly esteemed in the vacation industry and recent winners of six Gold ARDY Awards for 2007, the highest honors awarded annually for excellence in the vacation resort industry, from the American Resort Development Association (ARDA).
Established in 1982 by Holiday Inn founder Kemmons Wilson, The Family of Orange Lake Resorts has created vacations for more than 110,000 owners from all 50 states and 120 countries worldwide. They have evolved from the world’s largest single-site vacation club to a multi-site resort with a growing network.
Besides Ascutney Mountain Resort, new Orange Lake additions in Wisconsin and Florida were carefully selected and tailored for their owners. After a long and deliberative search for the right New England winter resort, Orange Lake decided that Ascutney Mountain Resort, in Brownsville, Vermont, was just the right fit for their owners and their organization, as an all-seasons indoor and outdoor recreational wonderland – and the perfect playland for the winter sports enthusiast.
With such a high-profile company with which to establish new vacation club operations, Ascutney Mountain Resort has taken a huge step toward realizing the dreams of its Master Plan, with assistance from EDAW, a nationally-recognized and respected land-planning firm, with E.H. McMullen & Associates retained as consultants for the project.
